In 2006, he was honored with the A.P. State Progressive Farmer Award, a testament to his innovative approaches and success in farming. Additionally, he has received the prestigious Krishibhushan Award twice from the Krishimantan Seminar in Bhopal, reflecting his ongoing impact and excellence in agriculture.

Raju's expertise has also been sought internationally, having served as an agricultural consultant in Ethiopia and Mozambique. In a notable highlight of his career, he had the opportunity to meet with Mr. H.H. George W. Bush Jr., President of the USA, during a visit to ANGRAU, Hyderabad, in 2006.
