Sri Lakshmi Vara Prasad Kavuru is a distinguished professional with over three decades of diverse experience spanning engineering, project management, international consulting, social service, and public affairs.

He began his career in the power sector with APSEB/APGENCO, where he played a key role in the construction, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of thermal power plants, contributing to operational efficiency and large-scale infrastructure management.

He later expanded his expertise internationally, working in the United States as a Senior Project Consultant, where he contributed as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on large-scale government programs, gaining exposure to advanced technologies and complex system implementations.

Beyond his technical and consulting career, Kavuru has been deeply involved in social development and community initiatives. As Chairman of the Sarojini Memorial Charitable Trust, he led impactful programs including rural health camps, sanitation initiatives, and educational support for underprivileged communities.
